The Importance Of Following Your PASSION

What are you passionate about? Have you ever asked yourself? It is said we came to this earth for a purpose, and I'm a firm believer in that. There's a reason why each and every one of us are here, and there is a reason that each of us have a talent or a pure passion for something. That passion that keeps us up at night. That passion that fuels our happiness. That passion that gives us purpose everyday. Without it, who would we be? What would we be? My journey of beginning to explore my passion started years ago when I was in high school. I had been dancing since I was eight years, but had an awakening when I turned 15. It was a period of discovery. I had never been so obsessed with something. It made me smile, it made me cry. It tore and broke me down, only to build me back up again. Dance is and was the toughest challenge, but the greatest reward. I would practice endlessly, day in and day out, and would get frustrated when I couldn't get a step or a turn right. I would get yelled at by my instructors, I would bruise, I would stay up late. But it didn't stop me. I was determined. I was in love.

There are many things in life that I am passionate about, dance being one of them. I find that my passion for fitness stemmed from my love of dance, because working out gives me that same rush and excitement. My passion led me to gaining my bachelors degree in Kinesiology, and a minor in dance. I chose to study it because I wanted to learn more about the human body, and in turn learn more about myself. By creating and sharing my knowledge, I'm able to continue to fuel my passion everyday. Point being that you should never give up on your passion, because it's what you were placed here to do, and to follow. So why not take that chance?
